Meet Jacob
Jacob is a five-year-old boy who radiates light, energy, and love. Despite his diagnosis of severe autism, Jacob brings joy to everyone around him with his infectious laughter and curiosity. He loves to play, drawing colorful pictures that express his vibrant imagination, and exploring the world around him with wonder.

Since Jacob was diagnosed with severe autism at the age of 3, his parents — Carlos & Carolina — have worked tirelessly to provide him with the therapies, support, and care he needs to grow and thrive.
Like many families, they have faced limited resources. Health insurance doesn’t cover innovative treatments, and public programs often lack the personalized services and diversity of care needed by neurodivergent children like Jacob.
But there is real hope.
A medical protocol in Panama has shown excellent results with children who have similar conditions. The treatment consists of an eight-week program in Panama City, where Jacob will receive the following therapies: Microbiota Transplant, Mesenchymal Stem Cell Transplant, and MeRT treatment, which involves magnetic stimulation to help regulate brain activity.
Jacob has been accepted to begin this treatment, but it requires an initial investment of $60,000. This amount covers intensive therapies, medical supervision, and a two-month stay with his parents.
To make this possible, we created the foundation A Voice for Jacob, with the mission of supporting him through this process and, in the future, helping other children living with severe autism.
Our family —the Cruz family, well-known in Perth Amboy, New Jersey for over 45 years— has always been active in the community. Today, we humbly ask for your support.
